WWE Hall of Famers Trash Trump

WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley and Dave Bautista make the case against electing fellow inductee Donald Trump to a second term.

Legendary WWE Superstars Mick Foley and Dave Bautista have each released videos making their case against Donald Trump for being elected to a second term as President of the United States. Combined, Foley and Bautista's videos on YouTube have over 2.5 million views in just two weeks.

In an Oct. 23 video on social media, Foley went after the 45th President for a litany of reasons, including Trump's history stiffing contractors on pay for decades as a "businessman."

I think everyone needs a moment where enough’s enough. For me, enough was enough eight years ago. The Undertaker is right in saying Donald Trump made politics fun again—for about three weeks in 2016. But it’s eight years later, and there’s absolutely nothing fun about this man anymore. There’s nothing amusing about someone who could be the next president of the United States talking repeatedly about the "Enemy Within." He’s made it clear that this isn’t a slip of the tongue; it’s his go-to line—“the Enemy Within, the Enemy Within, the Enemy from Within.” He’s even co-opted it from Senator Joseph McCarthy, one of the worst figures in American history.
What frustrates me most is that so many good, hardworking Americans can’t see through such an obvious con man, a man who’s only ever out for himself. The idea that the working man thinks this guy is on their side is absurd—anyone who believes that hasn’t looked into his past. I understand people work hard and don’t always have time to go home and do deep research, but instead of just tuning into your favorite news station, look up the facts. Check how many times Donald Trump has failed to pay his contractors and workers over the last 30 years. It’s in the hundreds. He claims it’s because they didn’t do good work—this from a guy who insists he only hires “the best people.” I say he’s screwing over the working man.
Kevin Nash told me a story today about going into the venue that used to be the Taj Mahal. When Trump’s name came up, the bartender rolled his eyes and shared how his father—a hardworking electrical contractor who had built up his business over decades—wasn’t paid by Trump for his work on the Taj Mahal. His father didn’t have the resources to fight Trump in court, and Trump knew it. He knows these honest, hardworking contractors can’t afford the legal battles, so he bankrupts them, crushing their dreams. That’s not standing up for the working man. Words are cheap, and Trump lies almost every time he opens his mouth. But you know what he isn’t lying about? When he talks about coming after the “Enemy Within.”
Who is this “Enemy Within?” It could be anyone. It could be me. Just today, NPR reported a study showing that Donald Trump has issued over 100 threats against people he perceives as political rivals. He’s threatened to impeach and prosecute Kamala Harris, accused Barack Obama of treason, and said that General Mark Milley, his own chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, should be executed. He did nothing to stop what could have been the death of his own vice president, Mike Pence, when crowds chanted, “Hang Mike Pence” and there was a noose outside. Now, Trump has gone so far as to say that anyone who criticizes the Supreme Court or other judges should be put in jail.
So, Donald Trump, I’d like to address you directly. Are you going to put me in jail for criticizing your Supreme Court? Because I think Clarence Thomas is a disgrace to the Supreme Court. I think Samuel Alito is a horrible person who doesn’t belong on the highest court in the land. I don’t think Brett Kavanaugh’s Senate interview would have even landed him a job as a dishwasher, let alone a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court.
Honestly, I’m so frustrated that I was even considering calling you a “douchebag” in this interview, but I thought, that’s a strong word. Trump might come after me. Ultimately, I decided not to call you a douchebag… even though you are one. Vote for Kamala Harris.

Bautista made his case against Trump while training in a boxing gym in a segment taped for "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Oct. 18.

Fellas, we got to talk. A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not. Look at him: he wears more makeup than Dolly Parton and whines like a baby. The guy’s afraid of birds! Donald Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to say his feet hurt so he could dodge the draft. And look at that gut—it’s like a garbage bag full of buttermilk. He sells imaginary baseball cards and pretends to be a cowboy fireman, but he’s barely strong enough to hold an umbrella. Just look at how he drinks water—like a little pink chickadee.
He’s got jugs—big ones, like Dolly Parton. He cheats at golf, he creeps around beauty pageant dressing rooms, and that little dance he does? He looks like he’s jacking off a pair of giraffes. He’s moody, he pouts, he throws tantrums. He acts like a five-year-old behind the wheel of a truck. He bends over for Putin, and his behavior on social media is like that of a middle-school mean girl. The guy even needs help walking downhill. Almost there, Grandma!"
"So this November, let’s stop kidding ourselves. Donald Trump is afraid—of rain, of dogs, of windmills, of Meryl Streep, and of being laughed at. Mostly, he’s terrified that real, red-blooded American men will find out he’s just a weak, tubby toddler. What’s wrong, tough guy? Did someone grab you by the p————y?
—Dave Bautista

Foley was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. Bautista was announced as an inductee in 2020, but due to the pandemic and Bautista's busy filmmaking schedule, his ceremony has yet to take place. Trump was inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.
